Part 1:
Required Questions:
1. While creating artwork the kind of tools that I have used are speciality carving tools to get small details in clay pieces. Also water and my own hands were the most important and mostly used. Depending on the project that was due, I would determine what materials would be used. If I was working with clay, the rolling stone, or Pottery Wheel with knifes and the carving tools. Their function would be to bend the clay in different ways add patterns, texture or cool details. Or another project where the main focus was cardboard, but to cut the cardboard scissors, and put together the pieces hot glue. Every project depended upon different materials. And each had their own function or would contribute to the art piece as a whole in its own way.

2. My knowledge and understand of the tools have grown since the beginning of the semester in the way that wherever I look there's objects I know could be used differently in art projects. Before the semester started objects just had one use but not they could have multiple and can create beautiful things.
Pick 3 Questions:
My favorite material that I used this year was the aluminum wire project while making an animal's structure out of aluminum wire with tape and plastic bags. I really liked working with it because it was super easy to work with and flexible so any kind of dimension I had in mind would work perfectly.
My most successful project I believe was the Relief Piece. My theme was nature, the big beautiful detailed face of an elephant with large colorful flowers among its "forehead". The process I went with was flattening a piece of clay on the slab roller then cutting it into a 5 x 5 square. Before everything I already had a sketch of what I had in mind. Then I laid my piece of paper on top of my clay and traced my sketch into the clay. When finished I created depth into my drawing by scraping out pieces of clay where I wanted my piece to have the illusion as background. When I finished that the piece went into the kiln when ready I painted the piece with glaze and added glass in the back ground. And again went into the kiln for a last time to melt the glass and get the pain pretty. Then I had my finished piece.
My most unsuccessful project was the coil piece. This was I consider my most unsuccessful work of art because I couldn't get my piece off the mold or bowl in one piece every time pieces would fall off or get unattached no matter how much I would try to slip and score my coils together or try to join the coils as one. While on the mold and finished removing it was the most difficult part. If I were to try and do the art project over something different I would do is while on the mold not letting the clay out too long so it doesn't get too hard and when I try to remove the piece it could be more flexible and not crack off. In all I liked the idea and how the coil piece would have turned out if everything worked out and been kept together,
